While attending a Seahawks game will give you a chance to be outside, it certainly does not show all that the Seattle area has in terms of the great outdoors. There are three national parks within a short radius of this city and they are all enjoyed by residents of the area as well as people coming in to visit who usually spend their time putting in dental veneers Toronto based or those that are accountants in Atlanta. Here is a little about each of the options when it comes to national parks.

Klondike Gold Rush Seattle Unit is a National Historical Park right in the city. Here you might not find the hiking trails and view up the mountains that you would when traveling on an EFL Canada trip in the Rockies but you will find out a lot about the area's history around the gold rush at the end of the 19th century. This park tells the story of the stampede to the Yukon as people were trying to escape a depression and find a wealth of riches. If you're from a condominium downtown Toronto based or from California, this park will let you know a little bit more about your country's history.

Olympic National Park has a bit more of that picturesque look that people are thinking of when they want to visit one of the nation's best outdoor locations. This park is across Puget Sound on the Olympic Peninsula and is about two and a half hours from the city. If you're visiting from your Remax Georgian Bay office for a week than this might be a fun day trip to break up your vacation. Or you could spend an afternoon away from city life on this adventure. There are three different ecosystems in this park and more than a million acres to explore.

Mount Rainier National Park is about eight-five miles south of Seattle and includes many great things for those that are looking to experience a bit of wilderness. There are five different areas of the park and you're certainly going to find one that interests you, whether you're spending the day away from working in tube cutting or are out for a weekend with the family. Longmire contains a historic home that serves as the park's headquarters while Paradise has certainly earned its name thanks to the great views. Ohanapecosh has the old growth forest and Sunrise is the highest point in the park. Carbon River and Mowich Lake are also definitely worth a visit.
